Schott & Meissner, world leader in thermal bonding and heat treating systems, founded in 1986 by Heinz Schott and Wolfgang Meissner, announces the sale of its 100th installation in the North American market. The 100th installation is a TopCon MAP thermal bonding system, sold to a major producer and global leader in the manufacturer of flooring systems, including tufted and nonwoven carpets and paddings. Schott & Meissner is a family owned and operated business, located in Blaufelden, Germany. Over the years Schott & Meissner has introduced equipment and systems to meet the ever changing requirements of the global nonwoven industry. Schott & Meissner is represented in the U.S. and Canada by Ford, Trimble & Associates, Inc.
